KELLY BROOK and ex Jason Statham cosy up over lunch in California - while her boyfriend Danny Cipriani is 5,500 miles away in London.
They shared a melon and caught up with each other's news. They are good pals despite a painful split six years ago and meet whenever they are in the same part of the world.
Pals say rugby ace Danny, 22, who's dated Kelly, 30, for 18 months, knows of their lunches and "trusts her implicitly".
An onlooker at celeb haunt Taverna Tony's Greek restaurant in Malibu said: "Kelly arrived in Jason's car then they laughed and chatted for an hour like old friends. They're obviously still close."
Kelly is in the US to promote new film Piranha 3-D. Lock, Stock Brit Jason, 37, lives in Malibu. They were together seven years before she dated actor Billy Zane.
Kelly is moving to Australia with the England ace when he joins the Melbourne Rebels later this year.
