Boyfriend Danny is first to congratulate nervous Kelly Brook as she gets her buns out on Calendar Girls opening night

Comments (60) Add to My Stories A nervous Kelly Brook stripped off on stage in London yesterday for the opening night of a new cast change of Calendar Girls.
With nothing but a pair of strategically placed iced buns, Kelly's co-star Arabella Weir realises the baked goods aren't quite big enough to cover the model's 32E assets and shouts: 'I think we're going to need considerably bigger buns.'

Clearly suffering from a case of first night nerves, an anxious Kelly was outshone by her more experienced co-stars Julie Goodyear and Weir.
But as the second half progressed, and with her topless scene over, the 29-year-old's confidence grew.

The play is based on the 2003 film of the same name, inspired by the true story of the group of Yorkshire women who went naked for a Women's Institute calendar in 1999

The model's casting as the glamorous Celia has raised eyebrows, because the character has previously been played by Jerry Hall, 53, and Celia Imrie, 57, on stage and in the film respectively.
Celia, aka Miss September, is the trophy wife of a golfer who has recently moved to the small Yorkshire village in Calendar Girls and bonds with the women from the local WI.

However, Kelly justified her taking on the role, saying: 'In the play, there is a relationship between Celia and Cora [Goodyear], because Celia has just lost her mother to cancer and she's in search of a mother figure, which she finds in Cora. Until they meet and she becomes involved in the WI, she's a bit of a lost soul.
