Marriage is like a Death Sentence : Kelly Brooke

Actress Kelly Brook is in no rush to get married to her beau and rugby ace Danny Cipriani. Cipriani is eight years her junior and they have been dating for the past 18 months.

“This year hasn’t been easy, but I’m in a good place right now,” the Mirror quoted Brooke as saying. She added: "I’ve got a great job and a toyboy and I turn 30 next week, which I’m excited about."

“I’d love to have children in the next couple of years – Danny adores them. But he’s got his career and things are going well, so I wouldn’t want to put him under any pressure. I don’t feel the clock ticking. If it happens, it happens." However marriage is definitely not on her agenda. “I couldn’t care less about marriage,” she said.

“I have views on marriage that people might think are a bit strange. I can’t promise to love someone for ever and I’m sure they couldn’t promise to love me for ever. Then you have the whole financial side – I’m not giving half of my house to anyone! And I wouldn’t want half of anything someone else had either. I’m not talking as if it’s going to end between Danny and me, but you have to think about promises you make," she said

“Who I am now isn’t who I was two years ago. I’m a free spirit and marriage has always felt like a death sentence,” she added.

Kelly Brooke is a cracker in Indiana Jones advert

West End actress Kelly Brook may not be a Hollywood movie star just yet, but if she keeps cracking the whip like this you never know.

Kelly looked a real treasure as she struck Harrison Ford's classic pose from Raiders of the Lost Ark for an advertising campaign.

The 29-year-old shot a series of film stills as she urged TV viewers to vote for their favourite Sky Movies' Christmas Day line-up.

Complete with pearls and cigarette holder, she dressed up as Holly Golightly from Audrey Hepburn's '60s rom-com, Breakfast At Tiffany's. Kelly, who is in West End show Calendar Girls, said: "I'm voting for that. I'd get everyone round to watch it."

Kelly Brook clearly trusts her man

She had a night out with the girls at Maroush and let her fella Danny Cipriani go partying with the lads at Club W in South West London.

Still, the injured rugby star needed cheering up after he missed Saturday's England International.

Our spy says: "Loads of women were throwing themselves at Danny but he clearly only has eyes for Kel." Ahh!

Boyfriend Danny is first to congratulate nervous Kelly Brook as she gets her buns out on Calendar Girls opening night
By Daily Mail Reporter

Comments (60) Add to My Stories A nervous Kelly Brook stripped off on stage in London yesterday for the opening night of a new cast change of Calendar Girls.
With nothing but a pair of strategically placed iced buns, Kelly's co-star Arabella Weir realises the baked goods aren't quite big enough to cover the model's 32E assets and shouts: 'I think we're going to need considerably bigger buns.'

Clearly suffering from a case of first night nerves, an anxious Kelly was outshone by her more experienced co-stars Julie Goodyear and Weir.
But as the second half progressed, and with her topless scene over, the 29-year-old's confidence grew.

The play is based on the 2003 film of the same name, inspired by the true story of the group of Yorkshire women who went naked for a Women's Institute calendar in 1999

The model's casting as the glamorous Celia has raised eyebrows, because the character has previously been played by Jerry Hall, 53, and Celia Imrie, 57, on stage and in the film respectively.
Celia, aka Miss September, is the trophy wife of a golfer who has recently moved to the small Yorkshire village in Calendar Girls and bonds with the women from the local WI.

However, Kelly justified her taking on the role, saying: 'In the play, there is a relationship between Celia and Cora [Goodyear], because Celia has just lost her mother to cancer and she's in search of a mother figure, which she finds in Cora. Until they meet and she becomes involved in the WI, she's a bit of a lost soul.

Kate Moss and Kelly Brook wrap up against the winter chill in a selection of furry jackets.

Kate Moss and Kelly Brook are not normally the two celebrities who consider the freezing temperatures when putting together an outfit, but it seems the dropping temperatures have even affected the most stylish celebs.

Kate Moss was snapped leaving celebrity favourite, Nobu Berkeley wearing a new winter fur coat. The supermodel completed her winter ensemble with skinny black jeans, scruffy flat ankle boots and a black tassled bag. Not many look this good in their off-duty uniform!

On the other side of town, Kelly Brook was also dining with friends at one of London’s top restaurants, J.Sheekey’s. The curvaceous star chose a fur trim jacket for the occasion and teamed her winter must-have with skinny jeans, Hermes bag and round-toe heels.

Ten Things You Never Knew About Kelly Brook

By Mayer Nissim, Entertainment Reporter

Kelly Brook may have her critics, but after starting off as a model, she's shown a great deal of tenacity and strength in forging a successful showbiz career. It's not been without its setbacks - like her short-lived stints on The Big Breakfast and Britain's Got Talent - but Kelly has brushed aside those disappointments and returns to the public eye this month when she replaces Jerry Hall as Celia in Calendar Girls. Before she steps out on to the West End stage, we uncover ten things you may not have known about Miss Kelly Brook.

1. Born Kelly Ann Parsons to cook Sandra and scaffolder Ken in Rochester, Kent on November 23, 1979, Kelly studied at the prestigious Italia Conti stage school. Other alumni include Noël Coward, Naomi Campbell and Pixie Lott.

2. After Kelly's mum sent a photograph of her daughter to a modelling competition (which she won), she was picked up by a glamour agency at the age of 16 and ended up doing swimwear and lingerie shoots for the Daily Star, Loaded and the rest. "When you look at those pictures from that time, I had the body of a porn star and the face of a child. That was probably the appeal and why I was successful. That's the sad truth of it for me," Brook admits.

3. She's now happily attached to 22-year-old rugby star Danny Cipriani, but Kelly also dated gruff-voiced Brit actor Jason Statham for seven years before their break-up in 2004. Between the two, there was a failed engagement with Titanic baddie Billy Zane, who she met on the set of the controversial Three and again shared the screen with in Fishtales.

4. Everyone remembers Kelly's appearances on Strictly, though sadly she had to quit the show after the death of her father, but that wasn't her first big dancing showcase. You can see Kelly in a briefly-glimpsed slowie with Huck Whitney of The Flaming Stars in the video to Pulp's 1997 Top 10 hit 'Help The Aged'.

5. In 1999, Kelly replaced Denise van Outen on The Big Breakfast but she left the show after just six months. A leaked report suggested that scripts had to be simplified for Brook's benefit and claimed "words that have recently caused trouble include 'intrepid' and 'satirical'". Miaow! Kelly later said: "I was 18, I've got big boobs, it was my first TV job and people literally sat and scrutinised everything I did and wrote down every mistake. At that age it's hard to deal with."

6. Those big boobs have probably helped Kelly pick up a number of awards for her stunning good looks and she pipped Cheryl Cole (then Tweedy) and Angelina Jolie to the title of FHM's sexiest woman in the world in 2005.

7. As well as appearing in episodes of Superman prequel Smallville, Moving Wallpaper and Hotel Babylon, Kelly has presented the woeful [Celebrity] Love Island, Living's Dirty Dancing: The Time of Your Life and of course, was hand-picked by Simon Cowell to be a fourth judge on Britain's Got Talent.

8. Eight months on from her unceremonious sacking from that show after just a few days, Kelly stuck the knife into the '90s John & Edward. "Basically, I just don't think Ant and Dec liked me," she claimed. "Their egos are such that they were saying to themselves, 'How dare she think she can come on to our show?' and since then they've been very vocal about their displeasure at me being there."

9. Despite a history of raiding her babysitting bosses' blue movies, Brook's own foray into film hasn't been a complete success. She's clocked up credits in the Italian Job remake, House Of 9, School For Seduction and, unforgettably, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo - where she played a buxom girl in a painting during the title character's stoned fantasy in an Amsterdam café.

10. Kelly appeared topless as a table dancer in the stage production of Eye Contact in 2000 and returned to the theatre last year for Neil La Bute's Fat Pig. The promo pics for upcoming production Calendar Girls feature Brook holding two strategically-placed iced buns to cover up her 32E chest. However, when the ads arrived on the Tube, the buns were digitally-enlarged so as not to offend commuters.
